Empowerment of Sheep Farmers Groups and Increasing Their Economic Values

The research was conducted at the Cinyurup Village, Juhut Karang Tengah District, in Pandeglang Regency, Banten Province 2019. used a survey method. study through interviews and questionnaires for 3 groups of farmers one group independent farmers: (1) Karya Mandiri Group 25 farmers, (2) 17 (3) Taruna 7 (4) Independent included 9 breeders, total number respondents 57 breeders. Based on information that sheep population large, it becomes criterion consideration area. Primary secondary data are analyzed descriptively, quantitatively economically. purpose this were to determine empowerment breeders increase their economic value. results showed that, profit I IDR.3.101,625 with R/C 1.5 higher, profits II III amounted IDR.2.339.875 1.4, IDR.1,174,000 1.3 lower, respectively. IDR.1,606,250 there an value compared III. Sheep business operated by both is economically feasible. Lambs still maintained as sustainable investment produce offspring following year. To business, necessary empower be more active move towards commercial businesses directly.
